I retired from Customs investigation in 2018. Needing something to do I became and still am an emergency response driver for NHS Blood and Transplant where I along with other colleagues take organs, bloods, staff and patients all around the country for life saving transplants.
I frequently interact with the ambulance service and over the last 6 years I appreciate even more what these men and women do for the British people.
If by becoming a governor I can help them and indeed the ambulance service to be even better for them to be apart of and consequently better for the public as a governor then I would be proud to become one.
