SWASFT announces the appointment of new Trust Chair
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce that the Council of Governors has appointed Stephen Otter as the new Chair of the Trust.
Stephen brings with him a wealth of experience, including as a previous chief constable of Devon and Cornwall and a non-executive director at Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. He has significant experience in driving cultural change and delivering transformational benefits for organisations.
We would like to formally thank Gail Bragg for stepping in as Interim Chair for the past six months following former chair Tony Fox’s departure. Gail has done an excellent job moving both the Board and the Trust forward significantly in this time. She will continue to hold the post until a full handover has been completed with Stephen.
Stephen will start with us in early January 2023 and we look forward to welcoming him to the SWASFT family.
