Welcome to SWASFT

Press office

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) responds to around 2,500 emergency incidents a day.

Although every patient is important to us, we focus on providing information to the media about very serious incidents the public may need to be aware of. This means we don't usually provide details about less serious incidents, nor general sightings of our ambulances and air ambulances. We cannot provide details about patients we attend at private addresses, confirm deaths, nor provide condition updates on patients no longer in our care.

We do consider other media enquiries, as well as interview and filming requests.

If you are a journalist with a media enquiry, please email publicrelations@swast.nhs.uk or call 0300 369 0135.

For urgent out-of-hours enquiries, please call 0300 369 0021
